We produce bespoke timetable information for more than 6,000 bus stops and shelters across Tyne and Wear, helping 1.1 million people to plan their journeys. We want to improve waiting facilities for our customers, last year we installed nearly 100 new stops. We have also introduced Real Time Information terminals at selected bus stops and plan to add many more in the future. Cleanliness at our shelters and stops is important to us. On average 226 stops are cleaned and maintained every day. Unfortunately vandalism does happen sometimes.
